2019 Season Passes

Has anyone yet purchased their 2019 season passes yet?

I have not, will do this weekend, but will Cedar Point and Cedar Fair across the board pull the Ace out of their hat on Monday and promote the following......

"Offer Extended" until September 3rd 2019, don't delay.

Like they always do?

Personally, I think it is bad, the people that secure the passes in the designated time as specified then are pushed to the side.

If someone does not purchase the passes in the original amount of time, then why should they be rewarded the same as the people that did?

Why does it matter to you if someone else gets it at the same price?

I purchased mine. I don't care of the 'time frame'. I would be PO'd if they later dropped the price further, since they are advertising it's the lowest price now.

For the same reason they give great deals to new customers willing to change their TV/phone provider, yet don't offer those to existing customers...

I agree with ^^cpki310, I would be very bugged if the price was lowered later.

As a rule -the price never gets cheaper, there may be a different bonus offer, but, it has always been the early you purchase, =the cheapest cost. normally, price does go up right after the season is over. We have friends that drove all the way there on closing day (over 100 miles away) just to get the better deal, before the increase.

So, did I purchase for my family....???? We need to wait until December to see if the Big Guy in a red suit and beard took care of us, as usual! LoL

Coming from someone who felt the people that missed out on chill out tickets should have been "made whole?"

I just don't like how Cedar Fair always extends the offer.

Cedar Fair always offer the cheapest price with the 1st sale and bonus. The price goes up slightly later in the fall and then stays there. with possibly a different bonus. Then it goes up again. Last year renewals 1st offer was $189 for platinum, then it went up to I believe $205 and then regular price of $220.. The good thing about this year is the free FL+ is usable in august, last year it was only after September.

Just purchased ours, can't argue with the price if you're within an hour or so. I just hope they do something as nice as they did this year for passholders getting to ride Steel Vengeance before opening day. I just wish I could have rode it at least twice that day. And hopefully no mechanical issues 😉

^The pre-season Hoe Down was a great event! I'm not aware of the park ever doing an event like that before..but, it was awesome. We ran into Tony and got to say Hello to Jason as well :)

The samples we were offered did sway us to buy meals inside the park this year... Miss Keats has wonderful food.

It says NEW Passholders have to buy by today to get the FL+... Doesn't have the Flash Sale dates for renewals. Anyone know if that’s still valid after tonight?

Well it's nearly over but I am totally expecting to see the deal extended (though I did decide to renew mine just in case).

It’s well after midnight and the offer for renewals is still available.
I guess they should call in extra staff and security to the make-me-whole-department®️ in preparation for the pitchforks and torches.

Looks like I am in the same boat as many of the Twitter commenters - I did not get a bring a friend ticket either.

I renewed Thursday, went to the park on Friday. The food-ordering kiosk refused my pass because it says I have the 2019 dining plan. Guess they still have a couple of hiccups to work out there.

I had wondered about the bring-a-friend ticket too. Tony said it is on your pass.

I thought that might be the case. I couldn't remember seeing it last time I got the bring-a-friend tickets. I honestly didn't even look until I saw the complaints because I've never had a problem redeeming any of those things in the past.
