Been to Berardi's many times. My parents always talk about the fries in the park.

I feel the best value is a Blue Moon beer from Red Garter Saloon. It's only $9-$10. Gives me a great feeling to know I could have bought 6 for this price. What a value!
You could always get in your car and drive down the road to Thirsty Pony (where you still won't get 6 of anything for $10).
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Lol. I know. That's why I stay at Hotel Breakers, bring my own food and alcohol, and don't have to drive anywhere.
Word is Cedar Fair may be interested in working with Berardi's again. And I didn't hear that from the Lemon Chill Guy (tm).
Has anyone here tried the Hibachi place inside Breakers? The pricing seems semi-reasonable when I looked at the menu on a recent visit.

Tomo Hibachi inside Breakers is very good. Food quality is typical of Hibachi style places with the sushi being particularly good. Prices are resort prices but not outrageous. The value is there.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The chicken finger baskets seem to be a very good deal. The chicken is pretty good and the portion is decent for the price. They have these several places in the park.
If you have platinum pass the Free hot dog or brat from the hot dog and brat carts is a great deal. You get a free dog or brat with the purchase of the combo.
The burgers at Coasters this year seem better then last year, can't put a finger on why though. The Platinum Pass deal used to be great - buy a Coaster's Classic and receive free fries and a free drink. Had a meal for $7 or $8. Unfortunately, when I tried to get this yesterday, I found out that they removed the drink to make it only free fries. Not nearly as good of a deal.

Ignoring the pricing for a moment, they appear to be getting new chicken fingers this year, and they're significantly better than what they offered in previous years. Not that it matters... I have the only kid in the world who won't eat them.

I have always found the chicken tender baskets to be quite good. They give you lots of fries and you get some pretty good size chicken tenders.
Tried the Coasters deal last night at 9:21pm (timestamp from the receipt), after writing a compliment at the Foods office for the great experience I Had at Gameday on an earlier visit.
I was late to Luminosity thanks to a ticket time of OVER 15 minutes (looking at the Expo Screen while waiting). My order was messed up TWICE, and try number 3 was mediocre at best for the burger, with the fries luke-warm due to sitting under a heat lamp waiting for my burger to be made correctly.
Is it ironic that this happened less than a half hour after leaving a compliment with Foods?

Being Mavericky since 2007!
I have to say, I tried the Pizza Sub w/ fries at the Joe Cool Cafe. It was $9.97, added a drink and it was $13.67 or so.
The sub was about an 8" sub, with an absolutely HUGE side of fries.. The meal could have fed 2 people easily. I crammed down the fries and sub around 12:30pm, and I wasn't hungry even as late as 6:30pm.
(Note: I usually eat every 4 hours, even if I have a Double Quarter Pounder meal at McDonalds, or 2 hotdogs, chips, and pop at the grill by Mine Ride.)
I really felt I got my money's worth out of that purchase...
Unfortunately, I then went to Johnny Rocket's at 7:00pm, still not what I would say "Hungry" at that time. Looking over the menu, individual items seem reasonably priced, until I got the bill.
I got the Johnny Rocket's Burger $6.97 added cheese and bacon $1.29 and $1.29, a Chocolate Shake $5.97, and cheese fries with bacon..$5.97.... Total $23.00, I had sticker shock.. I didn't get near as much food as at Joe Cool Cafe, the burger was slightly burned, the bacon cheese fries were really really good, and the chocolate shake has too much chocolate for my taste. I left there a little disappointed...
But, anyways, wanted to say how impressed I was with the food at Joe Cool Cafe'...
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
We had bad service and food at Johnny Rockets a couple weeks back. Plus the sticker shock. We're going again this Wednesday and plan to eat at the motor home. Maybe just a cone in the park if it's warm enough.
The "Meal Deals" are finally posted on Cedar Point's ticket sales page. Among the $16.60 "deals" are a Coaster Classic, fries, and a Coke. Oh, and don't forget to add on the online service charge.
Still saying 25 cent pop at employee cafe and boscos for I think two bucks is the best deal there :P Sadly they're still making money off of that which goes to show you the profit margins food makes in the park haha

I just pack a cooler and put in my trunk. That's always an option if you don't want to spend the money (like me).
Basically about 1 time a year, we decide to go all out, stay in the park, buy the expensive food, and just have an expensive day... I guess I wasn't expecting a $23.00 bill for a meal for just me, especially after I just stuffed myself for $13.00 elsewhere in the park.
I usually take $20.00 with me to the park and spend $7.00 to $10.00 of it inside the park...eat outside the park, before I get there, eat hotdogs at the Mine Ride grill, and purchase a Twix Bar for a snack later, then leave around 8pm and buy outside the park again.
