2011: Power Tower

I just got hired for the first time at CP. I'm going to be working the power tower. Anybody else workin' with me? (:

My sister will be working there too. You're gonna have a fun season! I worked PT during halloweekends last season and absolutely loved it! My sister is Brittany Marshall, you can probably search her and add her on facebook.

I worked with the crew at Power Tower for about 10 days last season. Easily some of the most fun I ever had at CP.
They are a freaking awesome crew! I hope some of them return!!!
If you work crowd (I had to due to an injury) get used to screaming "HOW MANY PEOPLE???"

I LOVED working crowd at Power Tower, it was so much fun!

I loved it too! You were in the shade, got to sit down, and it was like human tetris!

I always felt so achieved if I filled all of the seats.

^ haha me too! And then you suddenly had to fill another 48.
My least favorite thing was when you told people numerical values to stand on and they didn't get it. So since you don't know their name, you just look directly at them, and repetitively state the number. "Sir, you're supposed to be on 2, not 6. 2. 2. 2. 2. 2!!!!"

I worked Power Tower last year for the last 3 months. SO much fun! I loved the crew! It is my number one favorite ride! I will be riding the ride a million times this season! I can't wait to meet the crew for PT! I am atl of Antique Cars!

So how great is it to work on the Power Tower?

It is amazing. Especially if u like riding the ride. Opening the ride is fun. If u work "crotch" position... U can have fun talking to the guests as they waitnto be launched up or wait to ride up. Its so much fun talking to guests and the little kids. A 6 year old rode last season who was tall enough. I was amazed when he told me his age and parents confirmed.

What's funny is that I've never ridden it before. So it is pretty much the best ride to work on? Cedar Point assigns all the cool kids to PT?
