I hope not. It would make all these hopeful blogs ruined. ;)

Okay I can't believe that everyone missed this. They are tunneling below the Magnum to put REALLY BIG floor jacks below the cement footers to stop it from sinking.

Piss on it and walk away.
Did you need to post the same thing in both threads?

Has this blog ever teased about anything but a new ride of some type? I may be wrong, but they usually start this only for something exciting not just a building for offices or maintenance.
Or because they also read this site and are enjoying a good laugh at all the speculation based on one picture of some excavation vehicles.

^Dont forget dirt. Whenever there's a picture of dirt, there's bound to be speculation of a new coaster.
OMG look there's a coaster right there!!!

The Bayern Kurve is the ride most missed at Cedar Point, and it would fit in perfectly. With a new paint job and a few papier mache rocks & cacti it would even fit in with the frontier theme.
I would suggest calling it the "Bronco Kurve" but I'm a Raiders fan.

I think they should give up on the TTD theme and add onto the ride with a 50 foot deep tunnel which would make it the tallest coaster on the planet as every seems to say.
I don't think adding a 50 foot tunnel would do anything to change the height. It may be the longest drop though...
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Having TTD plunge into a 50 foot tunnel would just make it more of a Freudian symbol than it already is. ;)

Mike - they are talking about having the down side go into a tunnel. Not wrapping the entire tower in a translucent white tunnel.
And TTD is right, extending the down side into a 50 foot tunnel doesn't do anything to change the top of the ride in relation to ground level. Not to mention that 50 feet is pretty deep tunnel and would cause other problems.

Not sure if someone already mention this, because I really didn't want to waste my time looking through 6 pages of wild speculation when I could be sleeping before my next class, so I'm sorry if this is repetitive.
The construction vehicles in the picture on OnPoint have been parked in that area for most of the season. They were there before Big Bash, they were there the night of Big Bash, and they were there at the end of August when I was walking with my friend back through the Gemini employee entrance. In fact, I remember there being a rather sizable hole back there every time I used that entrance. Its actually a very easy place to roll/sprain you ankle if you're not being careful; I almost did a few times over the summer. If anything other than final preparations for Halloweekends props is going on back there, its most likely construction that guests won't see or care about. A real guard shack would certainly be a welcome change from the ugly trailer just sitting there.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
^^ If they did wrap the entire tower in white translucent material, the ride could operate in the rain! Actually, we talked about this during our trip in August. We were saying they should just cover TTD so it could run in the rain and I mentioned that the tower would then look like a huge condom. Of course we had quite the laugh about that. :)
. . . Then the first 'T' in TTD could stand for 'Trojan' . . .

Oddly enough, the ride time on TTD is about the same as............
............well, nevermind.
