2007 TTD status: Day to Day

Sorry Adam, I'm not sure how to use your graph. I'm here at Donut Time (FINALLY someone got off the dang computer), & thought I'd report to ya that Dragster has only run a few trains today d/t wind conditions. We waited in line for about an hour & got to be one of the few, half loaded trains they sent out! My day is complete! Maybe it will be up later but I doubt it since they where predicting wind later.

Seems like they reprogrammed the computer which helps big time. I only wait 25 minutes and that was with the first two sections of queue full.

Any idea on how long it ran? I can't mark the day "all weather" until I know for sure. Thanks for the update by the way.:)

The winds did die down after all & I saw it running for a couple of hours after I posted that without any mechanical issues. I'm not sure how long though.

It started raining about 9:45,saw dragster run till then

So it was down for weather most of the day then....which is a half aquablue half green day.

I haven't been to CP since Halloweekends 2005, how does TTD's down time compare to 2005 and 2006?

I'm finally making a trip up there in August and I am very eager to ride it.

2005 was a good year.....minus, of course, the early closure due to the gear boxes. 2006 was her best year to date....but this year is proving to be better in terms of ridership and intervals.

Here's 2007's so far. If anyone see's a date that may be innaccurate, please tell me so I can correct it.

But remember, for the day to be "half weather half open" or "half open half closed", Dragster had to have been down for at least half the total hours for the day (ex: from 10:00am - 4:00pm or 4:00pm - 10:00pm when the park closes at 10:00).

Adam, on July 14th the ride was down until 3:00 and then went down for wind until 4:00. All the rides went down for rain at 8:00 and never reopened.

In fact, I want to take this time to present a new idea I have for this thread. If it's possible, I would love to see a basic summary of the day in this format:
{for 10-10 days}
10am - 4pm: ("open" or "closed" or "weather")

{for 10-11 days}
10am-5pm: ("open" or "closed" or "weather")
5pm-11pm: ("open" or "closed" or "weather")

{for 10-8 days}

Sounds like Top Thrill Dragster has been running good besides those dates you've mentioned. I need to make it up there again, I'm slacking compared to last year.

Ran great today! 45 minute wait all day (and it was busy), crews did a fantastic job...

TTD was running very well both on the 28th and 29th of July...
It was up all day. the only roll back i saw on both days was the first test launch on the 28th and it had rained the night before.

^Apparently you didn't see the rollback at 4:10 on July 29th. I just happened to be on it. :)

40+ rides and I finally got one. It was very sudden and unexpected and over before I even realized what was happening.

No I'm sorry I didn't.

I was in line for Maverick at that time so there was no real was for me to notice it.

It was open all day yesterday(August 2nd).

I was there as well on 8/2/07, it ran perfectly again.
It's been perfect for me all 10 trips so far. If it goes this well for the rest of the season, i'd be shocked if it didn't make 1 million + rides.

Sometimes it makes me angry how well it's running when I'm waiting in line for a ride that's down. jk
