2007 Park Brochure

I think you should make it back to a parking lot. Lets see what you can really do with all that free time you have.

How's that? I'm not sure what the PL looked like before XF so I didn't know how to recreate it.

ha ha ha ha ha!! That's actually really good Adam. If I remember correctly, that road in the upper left of the picture ran out to Rt 43. But, what you drew is good! I wouldn't think putting in that road again would be a good idea anyways. *** Edited 2/13/2007 6:15:10 PM UTC by halltd***

Can you believe I did that in paint?:)

That's very nice as usual Adam, but can you compete with this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElrldD02if0 (you' ve probably seen it).

Those were good drawings you did on the GL map Adam. The ones with the grass that you did, look like RCT renderings. I'm not making fun of you, but maybe its the shade of the grass that makes it look that way. The last one you did was the best. Geauga Lake just looks empty now without X-Flight and Steel Venom. Give them time and I'm sure Head Spin will be gone soon too. Hopefully in the future they use the land that was once occupied by Hurricane Hanna for another coaster. That's way into the Future though. :)

From the looks of the 2007 brochure, the modified CP logo will probably work into other parts of the park in the next few years. How about the entrance sign along Rt. 6?

When the sign was first constructed back in 2003, I would have thought a jumbo -tron or media screen would have been put in as well (Similar to the one on the Castaway Bay marquee). Maybe if Snoopy is removed from the sign, some other changes and additions will take palce too.

Another example is the front car on every train on Corkscrew. For years the park sported the CP insignia on the bottom of the front car, and for some reason it's gone along with the rest of the graphics on each train as well. The same happened to Iron Dragon one year after the cars got their fresh coat of paint. The CP logo on the bottom of the first car was gone.

Maybe the cabin on Space Spiral will get new colors of paint with the park logo on it. Someone on here once said it would look good with blue and lime green, I agree.

CCMR once featured the CP logo from the 1960s, which should have never been changed to "the wave w/flag dotting the I." It looked more rustic and fit with the theme of the ride.

Not that it all really matters, but I'm a just curious fan of graphic art.

Well, maybe in the future, but I don't think they'll be changing the colors of the Space Spiral anytime soon. It was just painted for 2006.

Well obviously not! It's clear he's been drawing for a very long time and spends most of his time on paint (probably among other programs as well). I'm the artist of the family but I have a long way to go till I'm THAT good.:)

All I can say is... Wow. I didn't realize paint had that kind of potential.

I think getting rid of Snoopy in the Cedar Point logo would be bad. The Peanuts gang has been popular since they first put them in. I know the paramount parks were bought last year, and they use the Nickolodian characters along with the Hanna-Barbarra characters, but why do we have to get rid of Snoopy? The best show with the peanuts gang is Snoopy Rocks on Ice. I just cannot imagine seeing Cedar Point without Snoopy and the Peanuts gang.

HB was on the way out of the Paramount Parks.

On another note, the MiAdv logo on their site has been changed back to the Snoopy version, so I doubt Snoopy is going anywhere.

I just can't imagine the park without the Berenstein Bears...

Well, just as long as they don't get rid of the big bands and ballroom dancing, I'll be happy.

With this logo change whats going to happen to power tower? It also has the curved logo at the top.

Dont forget the huge front entrance logo. I dont think theyre going to get rid of the curve logo from anything at the park.

I have another question. Are there two different rack brochures? I went to FRANKENMUTH (Michigan) this weekend and found a different brochure. Everything is the same but the cover. Did anyone find the rack brochure thats on CP's website?
