2003 Season Passes Announced

If I want to renew without going into the season pass center next year, do I just order a season pass certificate over the phone or mail, and then when they send me the certificate I send it in with the renew form?

That is correct!
Most of our trips this year were early on in May (when soak city was closed), with one or two thrown in during June and July.

When I go with my husband, he's not interested in Soak City, and my son, a 16 year old, is more interested in the coasters than the water park now that he's older. We went to Soak City much more often when my son was younger.

We've also got a pool in our back yard. Besides, after reading some of the nasty things some forum members have said about how some people look in bathing suits at SC, why in the world would I, a 48 year old woman who has lost the figure of her youth, want to subject herself to that kind of whispering.

I just got my certificates in the mail today. In fact, I ordered them within a few hours of the site being updated. I got the regular season pass, parking pass, and joe cool club. [same as this year]

If I go to CP this weekend I'll get my ID then, If not I'll just fill the the provided renewal form. :)

Combo Pass for me next year....Bubbles all the way baby!

If I recall correctly, there is a small patio just outside of SC's fence that has access to the bubbles bar. It's out of the way along the boardwalk between Breakers and Sandcastle. You don't sit in the pool, but you don't pay admission, either. Nice views of the lake, shaded, and relatively quiet.
Yeah I remember that while walking back to Sandcastle Suites. You don't sit in the pool or get any type of entry into Soak City, but you can sit right there next to the bar.

OldCPer, you should enjoy yourself! Don't be worrying about what others say. I certainly don't look anywheres near what I did when I got married 16 years ago. There's plenty of "eye candy" at SC. I'm actually relieved that I'm not a party to that anymore. I can go and relax and have fun without wondering if my belly's not flat enough, legs aren't thin enough, etc.....
Actually, Sandy, it really doesn't bother me what others think...that comment was more a dig to the youngsters (GRIN). And if I make a trip to CP by myself and want to hang out there, I can. But when I go with my hubby, son or both, I tend to prefer to hang out with them all day...and they are the ones who don't want to deal with SC anymore.

In fact, I think the main reason we got the combo passes last year is it's such a great deal considering the JC membership is included. By the time you buy the regular pass and the JC membership, there isn't a great deal of difference in the cost of just buying the combo with free JC.

Does the combo pass work for other CF waterparks?

I got mine in the mail already. Well, at least the slips for it. (Season Pass, JCC, and parking). I am still in awe they get $3.00 for U.S. Mail and it costs them only 57 cents. Oh well.

I own you!

Gots our in the mail 3 days ago. 2 Season passes, 2 JCCs and 1 Parking pass.

I ordered my 2 Combo passes w/2 free JCC's for me and my daughter, and 1 parking pass online on Sunday and the mailman just dropped it off today. Had to put them away for safekeeping before my husband would get a hold of them first, hide them on me and torture me that they haven't come in yet! How many days till opening day in May?!! :)
