2002 Season Pass

Do you have to fill anything out besides you name, like the pass number or certificate add-on?

**When you go into the season pass office, they will ask you to fill out a card that details things like your name, address, etc. They will keep that on file in the office all season long in case there is any problem. If you want to purchase add-ons (ex. Combo Pass upgrade, Joe Cool, parking, etc.) you can do that right there as well. Your pass number will be assigned when your information is entered into the computer system and your pass is printed out, so you don't need to worry about that. Just put the name of the person who will use the certificate on that certificate, and you will be fine.

When you redeem them, do you just walk up to the building to the left and enter the little queue area they have beside it?

**If you take a look at the building to the left, there are two groups of words at the top: "Group Sales" and "Season Passes." The queue area is for group sales customers only. Just go under the words "Season Passes" and you will easily find the door to the season pass office; it's directly to the right of the queue lines.

I'd be interested to know how many people have taken advantage of the renew by mail option.

I did, for one :) Now I don't HAVE to get to CP before CoasterMania (I probably will, but I don't have to)

Can anyone confirm that the season pass center was not open last year on the park buy out date - what would be Sat., May 4th this year?

I'd like to drive down on Saturday, but somebody made a reference to the fact that it wasn't open last year.

Any help would be appreciated, since I'd like to book rooms soon.

The park's web site seems to imply that the Season Pass Center will be open on May 4:

"Your season pass certificate may be redeemed for a photo I.D. at the park's Season Pass Center (located at the main gate) beginning Thursday, April 25, 2002. The Season Pass Center will be open daily 11 a.m.-7 p.m."

My daughter called CP and talked to someone in the season pass office this past week. They said they would be open for business on May 4th.
Thanks, Scooter! I don't know why I assumed there wouldn't be anyone there to answer the phone this time of year. Thank your daughter for me!
