2 Stations

You mean split like the Vekoma Dutchmen? I don't know, it could help. Disney has been doing it for decades on Big Thunder Mountain, but that ride also has a zillion blocks.

DELETED!

I think a loading station like Mr Freeze has would be sweet.

Jeff, I was thinking sort of along the lines of the Dutchman, but instead of having one station on both sides having a load and an unload on both sides. I'm not saying that I think it will or should happen on S:TR, just wondering how it would work if it did happen here.

If you think about it you'd then have the ability to run at least 5 trains. One in both load stations, one in both unload stations, and one on the course. But to think about actually putting into practice on a real coaster probably wouldn't be quite feasable. You would then need roughly two times the crew of Millennium Force (which is a pretty big crew) and that wouldn't be quite affordable. Then if you stop to think about the operation of the ride trains could quite possibly be ready for dispatch too soon almost every time and the wait time in the station would negate the whole advantage of 4 stations.

Would it do any good to always have at leat 3 trains sitting still though?

The most sense I can think of is a X-Flight/ S:UF/ Mr Freeze type setup with three trains.

I think the actual time is going to be closer to a minute between launches.

The launch area will undoubtedly be outsode the station. Getting locked into the sled will be say 20 seconds.

Once the train launches it will probably be another 20 seconds.

I think it will take about 20 to get the catch car back where it needs to go followed by the launch again.

Operation is not going to be as much of a nightmare as you think.

Capacity should be about the same as MF, even with shorter trains.
