2 Stations

Two stations are possible... but probably only if there is a load station and an unload station.

I doubt we'll see any switchback rails with the exception of transfer tracks to get extra trains off the rails.

Not real sure if this has too much to do with this board but I didn't wanna get ridiculed for starting a new thread.

Do you guys think there will be ride photos? If so, where do you think the camera will be placed? Just curious.

I dont think there will be...... there is none on WT and i dont know where they would put them even(on either ride)

There are on-ride photos for Xcelerator though, right? Where are those located on the ride? I would bet that #16 will have them, wherever they are.

There are no cameras on any impulses...it might be from the multiple passes of the trains or the electro-magnets on the rides. I can almost guarantee that there will be an on-ride photo.

I wonder how much they make per photo. I am sure it is a good profit margin. Once they get the equipment installed it is cheap to run so is almost all profit.

Neither LIMs nor multiple passes *should* be a limiting factor for impulse on-ride photos. FoF @ PKI has LIMs and still has an on ride photo and Face/Off in the same park has multiple passes over a point and *it* has an on ride photo. Methinks parks just do not want an on ride photo on their impulses.

How many times do you guys have to talk about on-ride photos on impluses? It's not a physical impossibility. It's not that hard logistically either. It's not a programming impossiblity. It's not a world ending problem to overcome. There are boomerang rides that have on-ride photos, how is an impulse any different?

Yeah, I was just throwing out some possibilities. It would be pretty easy to add them, but I think that the ratio of people that would buy from an impulse to those that would buy from a normal coaster is pretty small.

On-ride photos would be cool on impulses.

The Volcano at King's Dominion is a LIM and has on-ride photos. They're triggered to snap pictures at the second impulse launch right before it launches up the volcano and out the top.

An impulse should be no different at all for picture taking.

On the subject of on-ride photos - did anyone else notice that Mean Streak photo was closed quite a bit this season? Maybe if it doesn't make money, it will bite the dust completely in the near future? I know CP makes loads of money off of some of the other ones (MF, Magnum, etc), but I'm not sure about Mean Streak.

2001 Magnum Crew

I am thinking 2 stations, but three stages total. I think there will be two unloading spots in the unloading station, and one loading spot in the loading station. That may sound absurd, but I think that it might flush trains through at a higher rate. I know I'm crazy.

I would be sweet to get a loading station like Mr freeze where one sation but loadings from 2 sides. This would also get people on both sides of the track to fill the grandstands if they do a drag race like affect on the theming. Like metioned elsewhere on this board somewhere

I don't know about the two stations thing. We probably are not talking a very long ride time, so having multiple trains might be impossible.

Not two train on the curcuit at one time but having one ready to launch when the other is unloading and reloading would help
