2 days vs 2 and a half?

Hey everyone! I'm new here and I have a question about my upcoming trip to the point. This will be my second time up there; we're driving from Texas. We are going up in two weeks and staying at the Kalahari. We are planning to arrive at around 1 or 2 in the afternoon so I was wondering whether we should stay the afternoon in the waterpark or if it was worth it to spend the money and the rest of the day in the park. We will have 2 full days in the park the days after. Would a half of a day make that much of a difference?

If it was me driving from texas, i would just rest and relax the remainder

of the day-enjoy the water park and have a nice dinner. Then get a good

night"s sleep and enjoy the next two days. Two days should be enough.

When i go to cedar point-that is what i do. Rest and relax and hit the

park the next day. Have a great time. Hope you have great weather.

It depends, are you a coaster lover? Because for me I would rather spend 2 days riding the coasters, than 1 in Soak City and 1 in the park. But if 1 day of riding is enough for you, then you should do the first day at SC and the second riding the coasters.
