1. No they don't supply refrigerators. You can bring a minifridge. The dorms don't have any cooking mechanisms other than microwaves. The apartments have a kitchen. Keep in mind there is not a lot of room for food storage and you'll be there with 3 other people.
2. Commons is just a one room dorm. There is a hookup in the room. Some rooms have tvs in them. The apartments usually have one in the "living room" area and hookups in the bedrooms.
3. Housing comes out of your first check.
4. Reception depends on where you are and who your carrier is. Verizon is much better than ATT&T but I'm not sure about the others.
5. If you're taking the bus, get on the one that leaves 30 min before you need to be to work.
6. If you're processing in the first week of you...get there EARLY. Lines are very long. And being in line when they close up doesn't get you in that day.
7. Not sure about hotel shoes. If you're going to be a lifeguard I'm really not sure. I see alot of them in Crocs or those type of shoes.
8. If you are random rooming theft is something I would worry about. I had an ipod, a ring, and a hair straightener stolen one year. Get a lock for your locker and lock everything up. Even if you start to trust your roommates, you don't know who they'll bring in.
9. The noise is touch and go. Like a dorm anywhere else.
10. Where ever you make it. But be careful, they are harsh on underage drinking.
11. Breaks vary depending on department.
