I'll keep this short.
Got to the park at 4 and left at 8:15. rode everything twice and was home before midnight. Second from the last public train for MF. Just to give you a idea of how dead the park was, we got in line for TTD at 7:50, and were in line for MF at 8:02. weather was great. and I fianaly got a chance to ride MS at night. it was great.

Ah, I'm jealous of the MS night ride. On my trip (one weekend before closing weekend), that was one of my goals. It doesn't operate on Fridays as we all know during Halloweekends, and on Saturday (the busiest I've seen the park in a long time) it was an 1hour 45 minute wait. I decided not to go on. Maybe next year.
Sounds like you had a good trip. From all the trip reports I've read, I haven't read a single bad one about closing day yet. I wish I could've made it to closing day this year. :( *** Edited 10/31/2006 3:23:58 AM UTC by coastergeek1***

I've done 3 in a row on Mean Streak, Labour Day 2005. She was running beautifully. I rode once on Saturday and my back was killing me. That ride is really hit or miss.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
^ Yeah. It ran beautifully (and trimless) on Saturday. Sunday was a LOT slower and a little rougher. Still not bad, but it was nothing like it was on Saturday.

I love Mean Streak... You just have to know where to sit and how to ride.
By Sunday evening, though, it was really shuddering at the bottom of the hill with the camera...

DCBP,
Where do you usually sit on Mean Streak? I've been comfortable in almost all the seats, but my brother always complains about his back. I agree it was defintely fast on Saturday.
Its funny that people were mentioning about their backs, the ride was held up because a guy couldnt get off the ride because his back was hurting.... I dont know what else can be done to this ride. English, I the trims were not turned on on sunday either, atleast not on my ride.

It's always cool to hear about people who were around the area where you worked. I worked in foods this summer, but was up for the last weekend as a Screamster/Ride Pride. I worked on Mean Streak all weekend. If you were there, I had on a red CP jacket. I was typically at entrance, but was also on the platform for the end of the night.
