It was very cold Friday night, thus making it snug for this guest of exceptional size on some of the rides. Longest line was Maverick at about half an hour, maybe 10 minutes for Raptor. Mantis, Magnum, Gemini, and I am sure others were not running Friday night. Freightzones and attractions were great, my favorite being Cornstalkers.
I have not been to the park in 6 years, and was shocked at how busy it was Saturday. Without early entry we wouldn't have gotten to ride anything without wating a minium of an hour, and 2+ hours for the more popular attractions. I would estimate the Halloweekend attractions were at least an hour to get into as well. My wife is horrified by the Fright Zones, but the crowds were so big that not a single actor got near us. I am glad to see how busy the park was, but I never have seen it that busy in my 20+ visits.
Saturday's crowd rivaled the huge mob from a couple of weeks ago. The overflow lots were full, but they didn't need to use the grassy areas down the road. The traffic was no were near as bad as the other time. I will have to say that the lines for MF, TTD, Maverick and a few others exceeded what I saw two weeks ago. The line for Terror Island was through the entire PE queue down the midway to the Guessing game. Screamworks was divided at the tunnel for directional traffic. Carn Evil was diveded for specific directions too.
Everything was jammed. By evening it was close to inpossible to walk without running into people. It was not the most courteous crowd. People walking 4-5 across on the wrong side. Not many wanted to move over. It got annoying after a while so we left ealier than we had planned. I truly think it was more crowded during the evening hours than it was two weeks ago.
