10/12-10/14

Friday night we got to the park around 11:30ish since we had to wait until the end of the halftime show for band. We left around 9:30 and got there 2 hours later. I went in the park and rode Raptor. Then I went back to Frontier Trail and then thought going through Fright Zone would save me time getting to the hotel. So I did that. It was okay. I never walked through that before but it was close to midnight already and I was amazed at the amount of fog. Then, I had to walk to the hotel and waited for my mom. I liked our room except we were closer to the beach entrance and on the first floor. Normally we're on the second or third floor. We had Domino's for supper (or really late supper).

Saturday, I woke up at 6:57. I got around and Ship Store was open when I first checked. I got donuts for the group and I left the room at 10:10 to get in line. I love the beach entrance. I think people in the hotel normally go to the Magnum entrance. For ERT, I rode Raptor then walked around for a while. I rode Paddlewheel Excursions then went back towards Palace Theatre. I waited for the show for a while. The doors opened about 20 minutes before 1. The show was okay. I liked last year's show better but it's okay. Then my mom called and said they were going to watch it at 2 and I decided to watch it again with them.

Then I walked around and got a chicken finger basket. Then, I saw the Tim Hill show at 4:30 and 5:30. I loved that show. It was amazing. I walked around more then went back to the hotel around 7. I just went and got my sweatshirt on and took my drawstring bag with me. It was around 7:30 when I got back in the park. I got a hat at Park Plaza then waited until 8:30 to see the Tim Hill show again.

Then, I walked to the Red Garter and got a seat for the 10PM show. I loved it. I rode Paddlewheel and got some fun there. Then I went back to the hotel for the night.

Sunday, I woke up at 7:46. I got around, had 2 dounts, and left around 8:15. Some other people came to the entrance and the worker made the comment that we were early. Then when the workers started scanning passes and tickets, they had this one lady who was a park guest make sure no one crossed the chain. She was doing a good job.

Again, I rode Raptor for ERT, walked around and then went to the hotel to help pack up around 10:15. Then around 10:30 I went back into the park. I rode Paddlewheel Excursions, then got a Mountain Dew. Around noon, I saw the Red Garter was open, so I sat down there and stayed there for most of the day. I saw Monsters Rock at 1:30 and 2:30 and part of 3:30. However, I had to meet up with the group around 3:45ish. We saw the parade, then headed home. I enjoyed the weekend.

Sounds like a fun trip, but were Raptor and Paddlewheel Excursions your only rides? Still, walking around is quite enjoyable this time of year.
