10/11 Fun trip

Saturday morning, me and my family left for Cedar Point at about 8am. It took us about 3hours to get there. When we got there we checked into the hotel, and got our tickets. Since my mom and dad were waiting for there friends to get there, me and my brother decied to go in the park, but this time it was about 11:30. We heard the only 2 rides that were open. Raptor and Millennium Force. When we got in the park, me and my brother ran to TTD, not that it mattered. Because we were to late. The line wasn't that long, but my brother didn't feel like waiting. So we ran over to Millennium Force, the line was only about 15min. It was a great run. After we got off, we decied to go back to the hotel and get a bite to eat, and wait for some friends to get to the park. By time they got there we were done eating. Since it was there first time to Cedar Point, we had to show them around a little bit. Since they had never been on a roller coaster, they wanted to go on something small. So I took them over to Magnum. ;) I never told them that hill was part of the ride, so they didn't know until we were going up it. haha. We only waited in line about 15min. By this time the park was starting to get packed. So we all ran over to hit Mantis, we had to wait about 45min, which wasn't bad. By time we got off Mantis the park was packed. After Mantis, we decied to go on Iron Dragon, because our parents backs were hurting, they wanted to ride something a little more smooth. The line was nothing. After that we got some fries, and went to check out the Raptor line, it was about 2hours, which I didn't feel like waiting in. So my parents went over to Blue Streak, which was a 45min wait which was to long for me, for the blue streak. So me and my brother ran over to Wicked Twister, the line was 1hour. We got the middle seat, it was a great ride. My parents wanted to go ride Gemini, so we decied to head over that way.

On the way over, me and my brother saw that the TTD line wasn't that bad, 2hours from the gate. It started at about the bleechers. I had waited all summer to ride it, so me and my brother jumped in line. We got inside the gates pretty quick, the line seemed to go fast, they were launching them like crazy. Plus the people behind us in line were cool, so we talked to them most the time. I had said something to them like, you know as soon as we get on the platform its going to break down. Sure enough, it did. By this time me and my brother were waiting for the front seat, and had about 11trains to go. It took them about a half hour to fix, saw 2 rollbacks, and then it went over. Got on and by this time, I was really ready to go. Got front seat, on the right side, saw the green light and my hands went up in the air. What a GREAT ride. I couldn't believe the speed, it was sweet. Got off, bought my picture. It was a good one.

By this time I was getting really hungry, and it was getting dark. We met up with our parents, and went back to the hotel to get a bite to eat. Came back out at about 10pm. My mom had never been on Millennium, so she wanted to get her first ride, it was about a 2hour wait. I really didn't feel like waiting, since I had already rode it that day. So I went over to the Power Tower, then wait said 45min, I got on in 20. I saw the TTD line and thought to myself, I might as well ride it again. As soon as I got in line, it broke down. No big deal, I guess. I waited about an hour, they said they weren't sure if they were going to get it running. When they said this a rush of people got of line. But since they weren't sure if it was going to open, they wouldn't let us in. It was about 12 by this time. And they were still working on it, they didn't let anyone else get in line though. Finally they did a test run, sure enough it rolled back. Did more testing, launched one, and it rolled back again. I think it was the thrid try, that it finally made it over. Everyone started cheering. They finally opened the gate to get in, and everyone ran in as fast as they could. It only took me about 15min to get on. Got the middle seat, and took off. By time I got off it was about 1:15. I went back to the hotel, on my way back they launched a few more, then they were done for the night. When I got back to the hotel, me and my friend went and played video games, until about 2. Layed down in bed, and looked out my window, to fall asleep looking at TTD. What a great trip!
