We're going to visit Cedar Point this summer, and my daughter will be 1 1/2 years old at that time. (Her height will be under 36" - she's at 31" now. Yes, she's tall.) I'm just wondering, though, if CP will consider her a "hand-held infant"? She's walking, too. But I don't think she'll be able to ride on her own, just yet. Maybe, who knows. Any one out there who can give advice or give me a heads up on what to expect would be greatly appreciated!
TIA,
Chris B.
Last summer I went to CP with my Nephew, Niece and their then 1 1/2 year old daughter. She was walking at the time. She was able to ride a few of the rides by herself, although her parents rode with her most of the time. It will probably depend on whether or not you child understatds directions well and how well she does at following the directions. You certainly do not want your daughter to fall out of a ride. In any case you should be able to take her to the childrens ride areas and take her on the rides. CP will probably not consider her a "hand-held infant". They might however require her to ride with a parent.
If you plan your day around your daughter, I think that you will have a great day at CP. Go, have fun with her, and enjoy the day.
Why ride coasters? Becuse there is NOTHING better to do than riding a coaster!
