$ of pop in cp vending machines?

I "heard" a bottle of pop in the vending machines allover the park are now $4.00 a bottle. But this was from a "story teller". Is this true? Sounds kind of far fetched to me; but for the people that are there a lot; maybe you can clarify this for me. Thanks :D

"Mean Streak crew 2004"

$3.00 last I was there just a week or two ago.

I think it is like 3.25 from a fountain pop say at a restaurant.

Still $3 in the lines.

$3.00

and then around $4 for a one liter of water

$3 for the 20oz. bottles in the machines. $4 for the 1 liters in some of the gift shops.

thanks :)

I am pretty sure the 1 liters were $2.85 in the pagoda gift shop when we went in May/June. The selection wasn't great though. No diet.

I went in early June and the Top Thrill Dragster Shop had 1 liters for $3 and they had every thing the machines had.

I haven't bought a bottle since it went over $2.

I always say this, but why don't more people ask for the free ice water? Soft drinks prices are outrageous, drinking fountain water has everyone's bacteria in it and Aquafina is just filtered tap water anyway. You can get a nice cup of filtered water with ice cubes at most food stands for free.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Well, lets not complain to much about prices when Six Flags are way worse.

^How many Six Flags parks have you been to?

I thought Six Flags was cheaper. There tickets are too. I just put pop bottles in my cargo shorts and bring them around with me. When they get warm or I drink them all I go back to the car and get some more.

Let's Get Weird.

Well let's see.

Parking: Six Flags: $15

Cedar Point: 10

Admission: Six Flags: Usually in the 50s range

CP: 41.99? I think.

Water and drinks from vending machines: Six Flags: 4

CP: 3

I take advantage of this frequently when the lines are short, but some days when the park is packed I don't feel like waiting 20 minutes in line for a 12 ounce cup of water.

^ Exactly.

I know that on Sunday it could have been $4 a bottle in the Maverick line and it wouldn't have made any difference. We were in line for about an hour and a half and every machine in the queue was non functional. It was close to 90 degrees and nothing to drink. A young lady in our group, after waiting over an hour, had to leave the line because of heat exhaustion. She was about 10 minutes from boarding.

As we exited the ride people were still trying every machine. Depending on how long they were down, Cedar point probably lost close to 1,000 dollars in sales in that queue alone. :(
