Shoulder Restraint Questions

I have a few questions about shoulder restraints and how they are referred to..I've heard the "OTSR" are the ones that come "down" over the shoulders that adjust to your height and that the ones called "horsecollar" or just regular "shoulder" restraints are the ones that are hinged at the top of the shouders and fold down over the chest. Any help/clarification would be appreciated.

OSTRs (Over the Shoulder Restraints) come over your shoulders but hold you in the ride using your lap. Think Raptor and Chaos' restraints.

Horsecollar restraints come over your shoulders and use your shoulders to hold you into the ride and do not necessairaly come in contact with your lap (Think Arrow loopers).

Since I can't immediately recall the Raptors restraints, are they anything like the restraints on Batman at SF:Gr Am where there is a buckle that goes from the seat (between the legs) to the restraint?

And what is the name of the restraint used on stand up coasters that adjusts to height?

Yes, Raptor, Batman the Ride, as well as all the B&M Inverts have identical restraints. The only difference I have encountered is sometimes the belts length can vary. There are also special seats for larger riders on some of them. I'm not sure if Batman at Gam has them, but Raptor does not (for capacity reasons I suspect).

The stand up restraints don't have a certain name I don't think.

I'm not sure if its about capacity or whether B&M just hadn't had the idea of the big boy seat back in 1994.

Out of all of the restraints, I still think the butterfly restraints, like X's, are the most comfertable.
