Only Half of the Train is Checked

This past weekend, I realized that the ride-ops only check half on the train on Gemini. If you sit in a left seat in the red train or the right seat in the blue train, your lap bar gets checked by a ride-op. If you sit in the other seat on either train, your lap bar doesn't get checked. Isn't this somewhat of a safety issue. I always check my bar, but should the ride-ops check both. There isn't any room in the station on the one side of each train for a ride-op to walk easily, so I don't know any solutions. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have any solutions?

No, they are individual lap bars.

For those trains if one lap bar is locked in each car let alone each row, then they all should be locked. The ops just visually check to see if the other side to is down a reasonable amount.

Even if your lap bar were not to lock on Gemini, Magnum, or even Millennium Force it isn't going to eject anyone from the ride unless they try and jump out. Most rides aren't designed to throw people form the train even without restrains. Gemini is one of these.

Joe is correct. Though there aren't individual bars, it turns out that the lock mechanism is common to both. If the left is locked, so is the right and vice-versa. It's already taken care of in the design of the train.

What makes checking all the lapbars on Gemini impossible is the fact that Gemini can't stack trains without setting up. Because of this, hitting intervals is crucial and checking every lapbar would take up precious seconds of time. The Gemini is a great ride, but comparitively speaking to most other coasters in the park, it is really "prehistoric." (Which is why I like it so much.)
