I noticed last year while waiting in the raptor que (7/4) that when the raptor went through its 2 helixes that there was a flash..first i thought of it as nothing ...but as the line moved around and i looked again it looked like there was a place for an on-ride photo section..is it true raptor takes your pic there aslo? besides before the "S" drop? :o) Thnx

Nope... the strobes near the cobra roll are strictly for effect. The only place you'll get your snap is around the helix.

I thought that there were two on-ride photo locations for Raptor - right side just before the drop into the second corkscrew, left side of the train just after the helix. This is unlike Mantis, where there are cameras both on the left and right sides after the corkscrew.

Majin, I thought the same thing. I recall seeing pics at different angles.

Yes, it does one side of the train then the other, but the cameras are still in the same place. The first post gave the impression there was one somewhere else, taking additional photos of the same people.

But he said the helixes, not the Cobra Roll.

There are cameras on the midcourse break run, and another one near the cobra roll. None on the helix
