Help! Most accurate weather???

Ok, I know this is a crap shoot, but who has the most accurate weather forecast(if there is such a thing) for the Sandusky area?  I have tried the Sandusky Register, Accuweather, and Weather.com.  Naturally, they all say something different.  Any suggestions?

Hah, this is what I went through all of last week. Generally http://www.wxusa.com has the most accuarate forecasts.

That is Channel 11 in Toledo, they definitely have the best weather of any local place.

The most accurate forecast available for Sandusky is from the National Weather Service in Cleveland. I believe wxusa.com receives forecasts from the NWS, so you could go there as well.

Most sites and broadcast stations use NWS anyway, so it really doesn't matter that much where you go.

It's all in the interpretation. I generally use weather.com and check specifically for Sandusky. In the detail, they will give you what the weather is expected to be in 3-4 hour blocks. But even that isn't always accurate. When I checked it on Thursday morning, they said partly sunny at 6 am (it was), cloudy at 10 am (it was) and light rain at 2 pm. It actually didn't start raining until 3:30-4pm.

Weather.com's forecasts--including hourly breakdowns--are excellent.

Last summer it accurately predicted a day with 30% chance of rain in the morning but 0% chance of precipitation by 3 pm.

So of course I drove to CP and had the park to myself...

I always check www.weather.com and then compare that to www.cnn.com/weather . I usually find somewhat of a more appealing forcast on CNN, but looking at the two I usually average them, split the difference and I that has been pretty accurate.

yea i agree with cyberdman....www.weather.com is the best because that gets its forcasts from the national weather service and that is the most accurate in the U.S

The Weather Channel (weather.com) has its own team of meteorologists. They prepare their own forecasts. The Weather Channel isn't bad because they have a lot of good people working for them (including lots of Penn Staters - which is always a good thing). But they're in Atlanta. The NWS office in Cleveland is in Cleveland. They have a team of trained (and degreed) professionals who focus just on forecasting for the Cleveland area. You'll never go wrong by getting your forecast straight from the NWS web site. If you're curious just how much discussion goes into each local forecast from the people in Cleveland, click here. That's great your meterologists in Cleveland are so good. The NWS in the Detroit area (trained and degreed professionals) are wrong more than they are right it seems.
