Webcam Relocation

I just looked at Wicked Twister's webcam, and next to it, it says that the cam will be shut down tomorrow (May 23rd) for relocation, and will be up as soon as possible. Hmm, maybe they will move this to the "Area 51" site by Magnum....

That stinks...why don't they just move that silly beach cam, and make that the Midway Cam? I enjoy looking at Wicked Twister up close...you can see how long the lines are from that view! :(

Now that the construction is over, a move to a new location (like Demon Drop) is good. I'd rather see a nice, dynamic view of the midway than a static picture where only the number of people in a queue change.

As it's been said before, I'd much rather watch a close up of WT in operation than the beach.

Giving a shot of the beach provides a view of the lake, beach, and resorts - all scenic and all important to Cedar Point's overall image.. I like the different types of views. Not all people looking at the web cams are coaster geeks :)

The view at the top of Power Tower is even more static. It would be nice to see a different angle with more midway, because right now it basically looks like the same picture all of the time.

In my oppinion, cameras should be situated along all the midways of the park, offering views from all over the park for us at home to watch.

The new webcam is up and it gives a nice view of the WT plaza, games area, and DT. It looks like it is located on top of Johnny Rockets or one of the games next to it.
