Alothough prohibited many people (mostly college studets) bring Alcohol into the Point.

I don't know if you're talking about into the park or just onto property, but we take a cooler full of beer with us into the Breakers every time we go. Nobody has ever stopped us or questioned it.

I can honestly say I never saw anyone walking around with beer or other alcoholic beverages last year unless it was purchased at CP. You are not allowed to enter a queue with beer in your hand. Also, at $5 per beer, its highly expensive for anyone to sit at CP and get piss drunk. I don't see a problem with bring some beer to your hotel room though. Doesn't everyone do that?! :)

Into the park. As in rides and so on.

Maybe the high prices are to prevent anyone from getting drunk...

To tie two threads together, I don't think 3 bucks for a vending machine beer would be criminal... :)

When I was there Monday.....Some one left a case of Mikes Hard Lemonade (a 12 pack) glass bottles(empty of course) in the parking lot next to my car. How rude.....there are garbage cans all over they could have thrown them away in.

Advice: At ANY park, before driving away, walk around your car and check for bottles, particularly right behind or right in front of the wheels. Some drunks have a strange sense of humor.......
