Magnum

On Magnum do you reccomend the back row or front? Also, can you really see Canada on a clear day?

Personally, (and I think many will agree) I think that the back is the best. Definately ride in the back at least once!

Car 1-Seat3 ejects you, 2-1 floats you, and 6-2 yanks you. They are all great.

Wow! I think I would like to be "yanked" one time.

I usually go with 1-3 the ejector seat. You get a great view with only 2 rows in front of you, and just get some great air. I had some of the most extreme air last year at CoasterMania and HalloWeekends with NO trims...it rocked!

If you enjoy riding the front seat on a coaster then the front seat on Magnum will blow you away. Also the above mentioned ejector seat for the best airtime around. The back seat is something that words can not describe. You just have to experiece it.

1-3 is definitely the "ejector" seat and delievers the most intense airtime. Of course it might be too intense for some people. For a first time rider not sure if he can handle the goodness of the "ejector" seat, I usually recommend 6-2. It is actually a better seat for the drop (you get yanked over rather than hanging there like up front), still has plenty of air, but not quite as powerful.

to me seat 1-1 is the best seat and about seeing Canad I think thats not true althought you can see far and it is beautiful.

I personally thing seat 1-1 has the most extreme airtime and not 1-3. I have ridden in both places many times, and feel the front seat is the best.

I disagree, but hey what difference does it make? :) Another important point is that the front row of each car (1-1, 2-1, 3-1, etc) has much more leg room than the second and third row. So if you're taller, you might find the front of a car more accomidating. Many times if the crew spots somone 7 feet tall waiting for the second or third row of a car, they'll ask someone in the front row to switch with them so it will be easier to fit.

1-3, like everyone says, for ejector air. However 2-1 is almost as good, and it offers much better leg room for taller people. 6-3 is great for the first drop, and still offers good airtime. My favorites are 2-1 or 6-3, just depends what mood I'm in.

Have to go with 1-3. You get the hang which is just awesome and you get the splendid ejector air. The back seat is pretty cool if you like to get yanked too. Also I do think you can see Canada. In 95 I got stuck on the lift for an hour on a beutiful clear day. this was right at the top, anyway a ride op walked up to keep us calm and all and she was pointing out differewnt things. You could in fact see the Canadian Islands out in Lake Erie along with just very very very barely the Canadian mainland.

But it has to be a VERY clear day, no haze whatsoever, and you have to look very hard to see the Canadian mainland. When that train is flying over the hills, you don't have much time.

There is no such thing as a bad seat on Magnum! I don't care what anyone says!!! For me personally I like 3-1 and the back seats. However, the front is always tempting for me!
