Hi,

I live an hour from the park, and I have been looking everywhere and I cannot find Pepsi cans that have $13 off admission to Cedar Point, and I need two of them for opening day. Has anyone seen them around and can anyone spare two of them? Thanks.

I saw some on E-bay. However who would want to buy 2002 Pepsi cans this year and during the time when they should be on the shelves. (If it is someone who reads this reads or posts here I'm sorry)

GoFullForce: If you don't mind me asking, where do you live and where did you get the cans? It would be of great help, thanks.

I live in cleveland about an hour or so from the park and I got the cans from work that is stocked weekly by a vender so I would think that they are the latest cans so they should be in stores.

The Meijers in Sandusky has them. They are open 24hrs, just stop there on your way to the park. I had to buy a case of 24 though. The other smaller packs were just normal cans.

AAA has "Sunday-only" tickets for $27.99. For opening day (assuming you can pick one up before then), it will save you $14 rather than $13.

I never even knew there were cans like that!! I should start looking...

My dad also works at DTE energy and he gets like $3 off perperson on admission to CP. If I found a can and used the $3 off, would that add up to $17 off.. or would I have to use them at seperate times?

You wouldnt be able to combine those coupons. You'd have to use it another time.

I saw some of last year's cans on eBay towards the end of the summer going for $8.00. If you add shipping to that you'd be saving, what? A buck?

Just remember that if you try to do the AAA thing that you have to belong to AAA to get that price.

Also.. Check with your credit union (if you belong to one). I know mine has carried discount tickets for as long as I can remember.

I think this year they are $30.50. Yeah the can's may save you more, but the can's stop saving you money in July if I remember. I can get tickets all season long at this price.

Check your credit union...

I have two friends comming with me on Saturday. I was planning to use the Pepsi cans, but one of them said they heard you can't use the cans on Saturdays. Does anyone know if this it true? I don't see why they wouldn't allow it, especially since May is rather slow. Also, does anyone know if you can find these cans in a vending machine someplace in Sandusky (Meijers for example). I just bought a pack in Toledo, and they still have the Mud Hens cans, and I really don't want to buy a whole other 24 pack in Sandusky.

I second what FireDragon said, you cannot use pepsi cans or bottles on Saturdays.

Who around here isn't a member of AAA? If you are someone who does quite a bit of travelling, AAA *more* than pays for itself. In fact, you should go for the *Plus* membership. If your car needs to be towed even once, it's already paid for itself. And that's in lieu of all of the hotel/car rental/dining/amusement park ticket discounts you get.

I've not had *one* year that I didnt get my money's worth.
