Can't change my signature

CP rules

I am posting this here because it is a more unused forum. But I am trying to change my signature and know how to but when I do and then post a topic it goes back to my old signature. Any help would really be great, thanks!!

You're one step ahead of me... I can never get my signature to show up, even if I check the "Include your signature" box...

Gravity

Hehehe... obvious mishap, but are you sure the 'include your signature' box is checked?

Yes, Gravity... I'm sure the "Include your signature" box is checked... as stated above. It's checked right now too!

[edit] Oh, so now it works and I look like a fool... I'm also on a different computer too... weird stuff!

Your sig is stored in your login cookie (in this version anyway), so if something is hosed there, that's your problem. Happens from time to time. Just nuke the cookie (c:\windows\cookies I think) and you should be good to go.

This same thing happened to me on Kennywood Blvd and nuking the cookie didn't help. I never was able to log out and I couldn't change any of my info, so I had my old account blown away and started a new one.

Like I said, it's almost always a cookie issue, as Windows appears to do weird things to cookies that defy logic (never had the problem on a Mac or in the Crashigator browsers.
