Little Fence around entrance...

If you look now there is a small fence near the end of the back tower, where the que line will be....!!!!!!!!!!

"Queue line" is redundant, kind of like "PIN number."

I don't see any fence, but I do see some kind of concrete forming walls.

I just noticed they still haven't raised the little platform to the top of the support structure on the back end. It's still sitting there. It looks like (hard to tell) that the one for the forward tower is there.

The fence/concrete wall is there to protect Wicked Twister from raising water. In years to come when the water level goes over the midway, they need something to protect the ride. Thats all this is.

I sure hope you're joking there, CUATCP. The Great Lakes are at their lowest level in.... a long time. I see more beachline forming, and not the Midway being flooded...

I'm I think CUATCP's logic makes some sense. Just because the water levels are low doesn't mean they still can't rise again. Although I'm sure the walls are for safety of the ride and people.

I'm not joking, my dad used to work at Cedar Point for years awhile back. He told me that there were times where the water was going right through the midway, from the bay to the lake. He said he remembered all of the trash bins just floating around and that they had to gather them all up and tie them together!

That's pretty funny actually....I would love to see floating trash bins....but I honestly don't think that flooding of the ride is anything we need to worry about right now...like MilleniumRider said, the Great Lakes are at their lowest level and even if we get pounded with rain this entire spring, summer, and fall...it wouldn't make a difference right away....but it's still possible in the years to come that they might experience some problems...I wouldn't worry about it right now, but it's always good to be prepared just in case

I would guess that they planned for the water level rising. I mean God only knows how many engineers designed the thing. Engineers aren't stupid...

I think what Jeff means is if the water does get that high, that wall isn't going to do much to protect the ride. I'm old enough to remember the great lakes being high. Beaches were, in most cases, only half as wide as they are now, and I can see winds driving waves/water across the midway.

I am sure in the future when the water does start to raise they will build some sort of wall. You would think that they would raise the station off the ground a little more instead of building a wall. Why not just let the water go under the station instead of around it.

Cedar Point did flood before. Although, I think it was from the lagoons not Lake Eerie or Sandusky Bay.

If the Lake Erie is going to flood the midways, it won't happen for a while... it may not take a lot for the water level of a pond or river to rise, but the Great Lakes is a different story.

The lake side wall at the station is about six feet from the sand.

The lake is on the low end of its 12-year cycle.

The lake will not be coming up to the ride and harming it in any fashion.

"Spinning around" does have its uses. You would have to indicate that something is "spinning around the center" or you'd have "spinning the center," which clearly wouldn't have the desired meaning.

Whatever it was it's gone now- look at the webcam- My guess is that is was just something to help the concreate dry and block the sand from blowing on-to it when it was drying.

Duane, Stupid Idiot is another one, but I don't know how often it's used.
