Front Half of Structure is up!

Looks like the front structure has gone up to the height of the rear end.  I assume next they'll put the track up over there too.  Boy once the top part of the two structures get added, construction will go pretty fast. Click here for the 10 second updating webcam.
**I have the picture saved it is too dark by now**

That movie is quite possibly one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time.  Do you have plans to keep up the progress of construction on video? That would be totally cool.  How did you set that up btw.???

Wow! That is cool! I was at school all morning and I come home to find the supports up. I wondered what went on when I was boring myself. Thanks!

If he isn't, I'm sure CP will have one available once it's completed.  They had one for MF, here.

Actually, if that artist's rendering is accurate, the front supports will go up a little bit higher. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/2002/wt/postcards/displayfull.cfm?id=1

The artist's rendering is dead wrong when it comes to the support structure.    The artist basically took a 2nd gen impulse (SUE) and put it in the CP employee's beach.  Check out danimation.coasterbuzz.com for a more accurate rendering.

For the curious ones out there, the 1st gen impulse is Linear Gale in Japan: no twists.  The 2nd gen are the Six Flags SUE clones: one twist and holding brake.  The 3rd gen is WT: two twists.  At least that's how I see it. ;)

Yes, that is awesome!

I have one question though. What exactly is the putting in of a cross brace and then taking it out again? Are they checking the alignment? I've seen then do this in each video Travis has put together.
