Winter Sadness Thoughts

Well, now that were very close to the end of a very great 2001 season, I want to start a thread on what everyone will miss about CP to kind of get us through the winter. I personally miss the walks on  the beach as the warm sunset covers the screaming riders on the lively midway, and the Summer Spectacular!!! You guys?

CEDAR POINT YES, SIX FLAGS NO! GOD BLESS AMERICA, THE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!

I had a bleak summer with a mere two trips to the park.  None of which were all day jaunts.  I'm going to frankly miss everything that I've done and even more all the stuff that I haven't done.  The coasters that I've still never ridden in my life, and all the interesting places that I would have liked to see.  It remains the next year to compensate for all that I've lacked this summer.  I feel a sense or resentment and joy at the same time concerning this CP season and the sadness I'll feel when it's over.  I truly hope you super pointers get your kicks, but I won't be able to.

Be optimistic! Just think of whatever this cool new ride will be for next year! Sure, I was only at the Point once this summer, but I enjoyed every second of it, and if I only get to go once a year, so be it. Just enjoy every second you get away!

Being a Cedar Point employee, I am going to miss all the sights, sounds and smells of the park. I am going to miss my friends and the members of my crew. This was my first season at Cedar Point and it definitly will not be my last. I look forward to seeing everyone again on opening weekend 2002!

I'm gunna miss just being there LOL, and knowing that it's open everyday in the summer....

I'm going to miss every Friday night that the group gathers together. It's the one chance to get together and see everyone.The new friends that I met. My cheese-on-a-stick and most importantly I will miss the "big blue thing"! I love that ride!!!
