Cedar Point’s 2026 HalloWeekends returns with new Diablo maze, themed ride overlays and fall family fun

Cedar Point’s signature fall event, HalloWeekends presented by SNICKERS, returns select days and nights Sept. 17 – Nov. 1, delivering family-friendly fun by day and heart-pounding thrills after dark. Along with the park’s collection of world-class rides and attractions, guests will experience terrifying haunted mazes, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, seasonal food and beverages and an entire park transformed for Halloween.

I went to Halloweekends last week, and if you are on the fence about going this year, I highly recommend going. The scare zones were fine and fun, but let me just say that never in my wildest dreams did I think that Cedar Point would have a maze to the quality of Diablo: The Infernal Trail. We avoided the line and went in right at the end of the night (basically midnight). And even then, the intensity and theming of the maze blew us away. So much so, that we did it twice in a row the following night. The sound, the sets, and the actors are truly fantastic. Having been to HHN on several occasions, as well as Knott's Scary Farm, this maze is on par with some of the best theme park mazes I've been through. This is a SCARY maze. Kudos to the park and the production company for finally delivering a maze of this caliber to Cedar Point. Incredible experience.

^Very nice choice to go through a bit close to closing time. I worked as a Screamster for a couple seasons a few years back and can attest to the atmosphere amongst us as closing time approaches. Sort of a "second-wind" of sorts. With more sparce spacing of patrons it allowed for some excellent scare opportunities. This is not to say that the effort throughout the rest of the night wasn't there, just a different dynamic. We'd notice the same people coming through several times.

Hopefully, those of you who may yet attend will get a good scare from my son in Slaughterhouse.

I must agree, Diablo is excellent! I still enjoy Midnights too. That spinning room always leaves me walking like a drunken sailor until I'm halfway down the Bonewalk.

Erie Estate was always one of my favorites, but something changed this year, and it just doesn't feel the same.

I'm heading to KI next weekend for Haunt. They have a couple of new attractions that I'm eager to check out. And, of course, night rides on The Beast are mandatory.

I'm curious whether my All-Season Haunted Attractions Pass from CP will work at KI.
