Chatroom's

Just an idea.. Has anyone ever thought about a chat room for this site? I think it would be cool to talk to people LIVE in a chatroom. Although there wouldn't be any posts, there could be a forum of what went on in the chatroom. It could be for MEMBERS only and only once a month or so at a certain time. If you think this is a bad idea, That's alright I was just thinking ...:)

If you tried searching you would have found that Jeff doesn't want chatrooms on GTTP....

I agree that it would be fun to have chat rooms, but sadly, people always start to abuse things, the way that some people have abused and continue to abuse the forums. If you've ever been in any chatrooms on the web you'll find out that some people enter the chat rooms just to pick fights, others to deliberately put people down, and the subject matter that the chatroom was made for is rarely ever discussed. I'm not saying that it's a bad idea, or that all GTTP members would abuse it, but Jeff has all these things to consider, and I'm sure he doesn't want all his hard work making this a quality site to be ruined by some disrespectful people in chatrooms.

All the above points are correct if you do not have mature people as moderators (which we have on here).   I don't want to offend anyone or expose people to things they don't wish to deal with.....
