What coaster club are you a part of? I wish I was in one because I kinda want to do this.

A.C.E. is $65 for an individual membership and $35 for an Associate membership.

I was an A.C.E. member from 1996 thru 2014. Did not renew my membership for 2015 and joined GOCC instead. No, there was nothing wrong with A.C.E., met/made new friends. Being in Ohio (GOCC has many out of state members) GOCC was better suited to my wants. A.C.E. members were VERY friendly, GOCC members are VERY friendly. Either organization is good to join.

I've gone to the last few Coastermania events, but I think I'm going to skip this one. There's no big new attraction this year and I go to the park enough throughout the year that I don't need to pay extra to be at the park at ungodly hours to ride coasters that I ride many times through the season. But I will be attending Coasterstock at Kings Island this year since I don't go to that park as often.

Got Mine.

Any thoughts as to what areas will have the morning ERT verse the night ERT.

I am thinking it will be similar to 2017 where the rides in the front of the park were open in the morning, Valravn, Raptor, Gatekeeper.

In the evening it will be the rides in the back of the park, Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, Gemini, and Maverick.

As nearly as I can tell, the event schedule hasn't been posted yet, which makes me wonder why they're in such a hurry to sell tickets almost six months in advance.

For the first time in a few years, CoasterMania and HoliWood Nights are on consecutive (instead of concurrent) weekends, so I could potentially attend both. I have the day off from work, so I *can* go to CoasterMania. But without knowing the schedule, it's hard to decide whether I want to go that day as a CoasterManiac, or as a 'civilian'.

Of course with my luck the tickets will probably sell out before the schedule is published...

Got my tickets. This will be my 4th CoasterMania and the 1st for the kid...

Like Dave said, HoliWood Nights isn’t the same weekend as CoasterMania this year (or next year, then they fall back in line) so I’m trying to hit up both and see what all the hype is about at Holiday World.

I'm still thinking of going to keep my streak going but probably won't stay overnight like I normally do afterwards. I just hope tickets are on sale once I have the money. I'm sure a lot of people on here have lots of money.

Maybe that's the point. Sell out the tickets and then make the itinerary very "meh" because the tickets are already sold out. #sarcasm

The itinerary has been pretty much the same (Registration, ERT, Cruise throughout the day, lunch, Q&A, ERT) each of the last three years , except for what rides have ERT at which time. 2016 hard Valravn ERT morning and night; night was walk on/walk off. Last year they really flip-flopped what was open day vs night since they had Steel Vengeance ERT in the morning. Crossing my fingers for night SV ERT but not getting my hopes up.

I’ve been eyeballing Coasterstock’s itinerary from last year. I’d love to see CP do more behind the scenes stuff at CoasterMania...

FINALLY. We only have just under 2 months until the event. They really got this out there by the skin of their teeth. ;)

Looks like a fun event, but also a long day. I'm curious if they'll close the SV line a little early to get the ERT started on time, or if they'll even need to. Sadly I'm missing this year's event, but Godspeed to those of you going.

I’m seeing at afternoon nap for me. I can’t pull those long days like I did when I was 20, or even 30.

I'm in my early 20's and still taking afternoon naps after lunch. I'm a pretty fit individual, as well. Regardless of who you are, getting up early and walking around in the sun all day drains you.

A very long nap in the car after the lunch, then go back in about 9pm.
