Is the name "Millennium Force" copyrighted?

If so, is the following a violation of that?

Thats a good question...I know on the Cp website in the Millennium Force page everytime they say "Millennium Force" there is that TM thing right after it.

No, it is a true diet drink or whatever. Millennium Force as it applies to a roller coaster is trademarked.

Yeah, you can tradmark different types of products. If they aren't the same types of things, then there can be more than one product trademarked to the same name.

That site was found by somebody on this site the day after MF was announced in 1999. It was there before that...

The trademark office site shows some really strange things. For example, it appears that CP tried to trademark the word "Millennium" on Sept. 12, 1997. How's that for planning?

Probably with the year 2000 approaching, they didn't want anyone else interfering with the name -- we know already that they plan for these things well in advance.

Actually, CP never copyrighted the word "Millennium." They trademarked it though. 4 years back would be 1997, like I posted in my message. If you're talking about trademarking it earlier in the year, maybe it takes a while to process (looking for other trademarks with the same name.)
