Long time Pointbuzzer publishes novel 'Charmland'

Greetings, everybody! I apologize for my long absence--I'm afraid I've suffered for years from an incurable infection of facebookococcus. Nevertheless, I do like to lurk from time to time and see what's happening here. Here's hoping everybody is well and having an excellent start to their 2018.

I've finally published my young adult fantasy novel, entitled Charmland. Intended equally for adults (and especially enthusiasts such as ourselves), the book is the story of a teen girl who finds herself trapped in an old amusement park that is a Grand Central station to many worlds. The park is situated on a peninsula on Lake Erie, located next to a town called 'Stardusky'...

While not specifically set in a certain park we all know and love, the story is heavily inspired by it. (And also by many other parks.) CP fans will get an extra kick out of the setting.

For anybody who's interested, the book is available on Amazon under my penname of M. Grant Roberts. The print edition is currently on sale for $9.75. I don't have the Kindle version up yet, but the process is underway.

Here's a link.

Cheers!

Just make sure you remember us when you're famous. And if this is ever optioned for a movie, I fully expect Jeff and I will at least have cameos! :)

Looks fabulous, when do you think the Kindle version will be available?

Walt, if that comes to pass, I'll make sure you guys have a running gag through the movie! And thanks again for letting me post this.

Pete, I've been held up with issues around getting the map (which is available in the print edition) to work with Kindle formatting. With or without the map, I intend to get the Kindle edition up by next week. The list price will tentatively be $4.99.

Walt and I could be the Ashley and Jessica of the series. We've literally been here the whole time.

Ordered a copy! Looking forward to reading it, one of my goals this year is to get back to my reading ways. As a former bookseller I love supporting local authors.

Is the Kindle version delayed? Haven't found it in the Kindle store.

Started reading this and I'm about 75 pages in and all I got to say is man this is horrible... JK! I'm actually really enjoying the read so far and even talked my brother into ordering a copy for his kids (budding coaster nerds).
