The CarnEvil Screamsters

How are they? I've been seeing photos and videos of them from all over in different parts of the park and they look like a ton of fun. Do they interact a lot with the guests? CarnEvil was my favorite zone, and I hope part of it remains in the park for a while with the creepy clowns roaming the midways!

Where are the pictures and videos? I haven't made it to the park yet and wouldn't mind seeing. Thanks!

Don't know how to post pictures, but if you go on instagram and look at the photos hashtagged: #halloweekends, you'll be sure to find some. Also, Coasterbob62 recently posted a video and the same black and white clown is seen a couple times!

They aren't "CarnEvil". They are totally different and just considered to be Midway Clowns.

11 years.

A few of them still identify with CarnEvil. If you talk to them (we asked "Where is your zone?"), they will tell you that they are homeless. I'm hoping they keep them around for a while.

They call me Sheehan.

I was disappointed with Feary Tales. I didn't find it very impressive compared to CarnEvil.

I was actually at the Feary Tales part yesterday and this lady was yelling at the screamster to tell her where the train was. After directing her, he turned around and told us how rude people are to them and that was just an example. Kind of felt bad, but he never broke character.

CarnEvil was better than Feary Tales, but the CarnEvil in Camp Snoopy was not as good as CarnEvil when it was in midway by the stadium, because of the wide open space of that midway, the screamsters had a lot of room to hide and chase the girls. It was great. Also 'Fright Zone' was better than 'Maniacal Mechanical Screamworks. There was a screamster in fright zone in the alcove where the gemstone mining is. He would go thru his rhythmatic beating on the ground and come out screaming.

I agree. Went to HW last weekend after taking a few years off. I didn't see many screamsters on the Frontier Trail nor in Feary Tales. I'm not sure if this was because of lack of staff, poor weather, or massive Saturday crowds.
