Not current, but I'd like to see Jumbo Jet included on the signage.

Switchback Railway wasn't on it, I don't think there's much hope for anything not current.

True Scottyf. Are they forgetting the past? "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Does that mean we can get Jumbo Jet back? It'd easily fit in the cleared space.

I will admit that I am sure the ride experience is not as thrilling as 14-year-old me remembers but it was my first solo "big" coaster - just made the height requirement in 1978.

I honestly would have thought it much cooler and historic to have EVERY CP coaster ever on the fence somehow (and then transferred somewhere more permanent after the Valravn dive coaster comes in).

I was so excited the year I was finally tall enough to brave Jumbo Jet!

I remember my cousin and I looking at it thinking it was real scary. Never got a chance to ride it though unfortunately. Wasn't tall enough.

Can anyone who was up at the park this past weekend confirm if they added additional coasters to the timeline? I would hate for this thread to go cold ;)

Corkscrew and Gemini were the last ones as of Friday, if I'm remembering correctly.

It still ends at Corkscrew and Gemini.

I was there Sunday, Gemini was the most recent sign.

You can also see it on live cam #1 if it's pointed that way (it isn't right now), although it's difficult to make out which coasters are on it.

Speaking of the live cams, I noticed the other day that grass had apparently been planted on the other side of the fence. Strange...if they were clearing the way for something, I would have expected to see dirt instead.

Absolutely, because grass is prohibitively expensive and a major maintenance burden. They'd have to leave that grass there for at least 5-10 years to get the monetary value out of such a substantial investment. Obvious now that nothing will be built on that land for a long time...

Why are you surprised there is grass on the other side of the fence? A couple weeks ago the question was asked, "what is on the other side of the fence?" I said, "grass is growing on the other side of the fence." You didn't believe me!

Must have slipped my mind.

Wilderness Run and Iron Dragon are up now. the pattern of 2 each week continues, unless the printing shop only has time to print 2 every week.

Interesting how they did Wilderness Run. I wonder if that means they will put Rougarou where Mantis would go. I am going to guess not however since they are introducing it as a brand new ride.

I figured they were going to put Wilderness Run with Iron Dragon. So that's the first part of my curiosity satisfied. :)

Did they happen to mention it previously being Jr. Gemini?

Wilderness Run's conversion from Jr. Gemini was a mere color and name change.

Rougarou's conversion from Mantis was a little more involved, touching mechanical, controls, and most obviously trains.

The two are not the same. Rougarou is a different ride experience; Wilderness Run is not. It still has yet to be seen which position Rougarou will be listed in.

Well, considering a few people(I talk to some people in lines) think Mantis was demolished so they could build Rougarou, I assume they'll put 2 separate signs for Mantis and Rougarou. As topthrilldragster said, the marketing team meant for Rougarou to be a new coaster never offered at Cedar Point. Wilderness Run is the same as Jr. Gemini, with a new name and paint job.
