No one could hear you over your decades of bitching about not being able to ride it for some reason. :)

Even though I do not care for the revamped ride, I do think it was a good decision for the park.

I only rode once Friday night, in the back row. There was still considerable head-banging. Just not as bad as old trains. I could care less if I ever ride it again. Not much excitement to it. I think it is because of all the years riding it as Mantis. If it had been a new coaster, I think I would have had a different opinion.

Try again in the front seat. :)

You could care less? So you still care a little bit? Well, then try again towards the front. The back of a train is always very rough.

For us, row 6 was pretty rough, resulting a ton of head banging throughout the ride. It's a nice rehab, and really flies with the trim off, but aside from perhaps giving the front row a try, I don't expect we'll ride it again.

Ok. We live in Florida. Have our reservation for Hotel Breakers for end of June (can't wait).

I really want more clarification on what people are referring to as "head banging".

I can't wait to ride this coaster- very excited, but I feel like reviews are mixed. Raptor, for example, has headbanging in several spots, and I worked on Dominator at the old Geauga Lake in high school and can attest to that ride having head banging near the end.

As an Orlando resident, I can say that THE HULK has significant head banging near the end of the ride, and Kraken has a few moments of head banging near the end of the course.

None of the above coasters, however, would I deem "unrideable" as some have alluded to on this board. So how does the headbanging compare to the above mentioned rides?

I would say it is very similar to Dominator when it comes to head banging. Don't keep your head back against the head rest, tilt your head forward and almost all of the head banging should disappear.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
