Best Day of Summer contest

It appears as though Cedar Point and several other Cedar Fair parks are having a 'Best Day of Summer' contest.

The contest began May 26 and ends July 6. I didn't see anything about it mentioned on this site. If it is already being discussed, please delete this topic.

Best Day of Summer contest for Cedar Point:

1. Take photos and videos of your day at Cedar Point
2. Make your movie using Magisto – magic movie maker
3. Use the Cedar Point movie theme
4. Include #CedarPointContest in your title for a chance to win a trip for 4 to Knott's Berry Farm

I would suggest taking a gander at the Official Rules before submitting your video, as there are some guidelines that would disqualify some such as: 'The Submission must not include the image of a child under the age of 13
drinking any beverage'.

The sponsor will provide a panel of qualified judges that will choose 18 winners from each participating park plus 1 Grand Prize winner. The scoring will be based on:

1. Park Association/Connection (33%)
2. Togetherness (family/friends) (33%); and
3. Energy/Excitement (34%)

The Grand Prize will consist of:
A trip package for 4 to Knott's Berry Farm.
The trip package includes:
Round trip airfare for 4
2 night hotel stay
8 tickets to Knott's Berry Farm
ARV: $2696

The 18 runner-up prize packages for Cedar Point include:

4 Front gate admissions tickets
4 Fast Lane passes
4 souvenir sports bottles
1 parking pass.
ARV: $546.92.
