kruggie, you sound like a very good parent, who wants to make her kid's HW experience a good one. Be aware that there are many things that we may find OK as adults, but may be too intense for the kiddies. For example, our four kids picked up on the scary music, the fog (tons of fog machines), and the skeletons and tombstones/graveyard scenes. Maybe our kids are too sensitive, but the walk-around monsters (costumed employees) were too much for them, too. Some of these outrageous outfits are about 8 feet tall - I can't imagine what that must look like to a little kid.
Yes, it can be fun for the kiddies, but especially when the sun goes down, it can EASILY get too scary for them
