Is Coastermania Crowded?

I mean I said I'd be there but I've actually never been to Coastermania. I am taking out a day of school to go. If you people say I won't get anymore than 25 laps on Magnum, I am not going. I can settle for a single digit number on MF.

I have been to the last 2 Coastermanias, morning ERT isn't too bad depending on which ride you chose. I anticipate Raptor will be more crowded than the others. The day brings on the gp and school crowds (I know several school districts by me planning their school outing Friday--eek)
and the park does get crowded, by 5pm-schools leave/gone and rest dwindle out. As far as 25 laps on Magnum I cant say for sure. With PM ERT time on MF many may opt for her, but since I am not the Magnum expert here Im not the one to ask about 25 laps. If I get 10 on Raptor I'll be happy. Its my 3rd Coastermania and looking forward to an even better one than last year!!!

Last year was my 2nd CoasterMania, and it was CROWDED. I got 8 Raptor laps in the morning, but after that things slowed to a crawl. I wouldn't go in expecting 25 Magnum laps, although stranger things have happened...

Nice info. But any Magnum experts can tell me if I can knock off *AT LEAST* 25 on Magnum. I am trying to get up to at least 2500 by the end of the year, I won't hit 3000 simply because this year they won't have Millennium Mania (or will they?).

My school class will be going at Coastermania. We kinda spread out through the park. It's my first time to CP this year so I am excited. The schools in Toledo are usually alowd to stay as long as the driver wants to, so we will be staying for a long time. So will all of the other schools. My guess it will be not crowded early in the morning and late at night.

OnRide Pic Freak, I am Magnum expert (not as big as Dan). Last the park was crowed and all the coasters had a good size line. Magnum on the other hand only had about a 30 min. wait. So if you don't mind being at Magnum all day you should be able to get at least 25 laps. I am planning on being at Magnum almost all day trying to hit 50.

Since the weather isn't supposed to be that great on Friday, I'm hoping the crowds won't be too bad. I think I did see that they are having MM again this year or am I wrong?

I need 48 rides for 1500, if I wasn't bringing my non enthusiast friend I would go for it, I will hit it Sunday night and make the last ride of the night my 1500th, for anyone that will be there this sunday stop by for last ride.

Got to thinking about something yesterday (while I was busy dying the bottom of my hair green)
morning ERT may not be that bad tomorrow. In years past because they opened the gates at 9am-the gp would "sneak" on the ERT rides because basically the ops weren't checking for the Coastermania buttons. So tomorrow we dont have to deal with them till 10am.
Thats the 1st time this season I thought the 10am gate opening time was a good idea!!!

I know I was going to bring this up a while ago, but I forgot. Do you think they will let them in an hour early tomorrow, or make them wait 'til 10:00?

They let them in at 10 today. Already the gate was jam packed at 9 and I casually strolled in with my Joe Cool Club deal to a park that had about 70 peeps in it. SUCKAS, to think they stood there for an hour.

Well, it wasn't even the slightest bit crowded this year. :) I love it when early morning rain scares all the guests away!

Yeah, CoasterMania was MUCH less crowded this year. I heard the attendance for CoasterMania itself was 1500, which was lower than last year, and there were FAR fewer GP peeps this year.
