Cedar Point and Meijer

I went to Meijer the other day and noticed a large poster-like display up by the front of the store. It had regular ticket prices and discounted ticket prices when bought at Meijer.

Did Cedar Point sign some kind of contract with Meijer or does Cedar Point have these types of signs up at several stores.

Meijer has a contract with Cedar Point. So with they have that Cedar Point give Meijer's a discount on tickests. Also at any place that sells Cedar Point tickets, you can get a discount on them.

Now that I think of it, I have been noticing this at Meijer for a fairly long time! Anyone know how long they have had this contract? It has to be at least 4 or 5 years...

Yeah, Meijer is a big-time sponsor -- watch the Summer Spectacular, Meijer is a part of it. Also, the employee bus will drop you off at Meijer -- another indication of the cozy relationship.

I believe the discount is $5, not as good as Pepsi or AAA, but if you don't have AAA it is a good price for July/August.
