Parking Signs

The talk of Sign Removal made me think some more. What was the last year of the Ride name signs in the parking lot? My guess is 98, but I'm not sure. There is still ONE i think in the main lot, right next to the handicap parking.

I miss saying "I'm parked in Gemini 27." Now it's "I'm parked in B23" What the fun in that?

I couldn't agree more - I was just thinking about this on Saturday while driving through the parking lot.

The tram was before my time, but I do remember the parking signs. Too bad they've disappeared as well! Another bit of uniqueness vanishes into a bland concrete slab paved with tourists...

I at least wish they would have kept the trees in that line. If you did have to park way out there, it provided a little shade for that mid-day break at the car.

Good point about the trams. That was one thing that disappointed me about CP. They are so customer oriented with many other things, you'd think they'd have a tram like BGW. I know the walk isn't that far, but if you go out to your car mid-afternoon, the heat can be brutal.

The trams couldn't have been before most of your guy's time. I remember riding in them back in the late eighties. Am I mistaken?

We always just park at the Marina lot, never more than thirty seconds from the gate there. And its the closest to MF, too!
