New Wing Coaster

I was on Wikipedia(I know it's untrustworthy) and I was searching through a list of roller coasters installed by Bolliger and Mabillard, and I found that a new wing coaster is expected to open in 2014 in Heide Park, Germany.

I hope this coaster doesn't beat out any records currently held by GateKeeper!

BTW, any word on how fast Flying Over the Rainforest will be?

That's true. I think I recently read something that track had either just arrived or was about to arrive there.

Personally I could care less on its layout, since no matter what I know that our wing coaster at CP is awesome. Even if the one in germany will break some more records, which I don't think it will, I'd still be perfectly fine.

Yes it's true, it's already on RCDB.

RCDB is already stating that Flying Over The RainForest will be longer than GateKeeper.

Is GateKeeper suddenly going to suck because it doesn't have some arbitrary record? Will attendance plumet?

And to that point... Millennium Force held the speed & height record for only a couple weeks before Steel Dragon opened.

That's why the ride sucks.

No. There are many other reasons why Millennium Force sucks..

That additional whopping 28.9 feet of track length surely doesn't make up for it's lackluster layout.

Wait, hold up a second.

Tell me it is sarcasm when you state Millennium force sucks. I understand if you don't like roller coasters but also if it is not your favorite it is far from sucking.

I certainly intended my comment to point out how records and ride quality are not linked.

I was just going off the track length figures on RCDB.

Flying Over The Rainforest is 28.9 feet longer than Gatekeeper, according to those figures.

I think the question was, how do you know it's a lackluster layout? From the little research i have done it seems that the layout has not been released yet. I have found some rough guesses as to the layout but, there is still enough mystery in the layout that it could be a little different. Also i think the tunnels could be really awesome on a wing coaster

Judging how much has already been built, this seems pretty accurate... and pretty lackluster when compared to GateKeeper.

I think it looks like it will be a pretty impressive coaster! Tough to say which of the Wing Riders will be best, but the under ground parts, and layout look interesting enough.

The layout was released on TPR a long time ago.

^Actually no they haven't. Everything that has been posted there was in the NoLimits recreation, which is based off of what has been constructed and overview concept art of the park. So if you have a link to an actual released layout then please share it.

Okay, i'll bite. It's forceless and overrated.

And the response will be:

"Just because it is overrated doesn't mean it sucks."

You're right. The forceless part makes the ride suck.

:)
