One solution to the tight vest problem

Try using a fanny pack. While the vest will still tighten during the ride, it will tighten around your abdomen. This will obviously only work if you are skinny since the fanny pack takes up room.

Although I don't have problems with GK's vest, I'd rather be in pain than wear a fanny pack.

the solution is simple have them lock in one place like every other OTSR that B&M makes.

I think honestly the vest is only an issue if you ride it over and over. The first few rides on media day I did not even notice it, but after 6-7 rides I started to get irritated by it. By my final 11th and 12th rides, it was starting to hurt my shoulder bone.

But for normal riding conditions, I don't see it as a problem... Only for ERT situations! :)

I've just gotten used to hooking my thumbs under the vest and holding it away from my shoulders as the train leaves the station and goes up the lift.

Dear God not this...

Last thing I need is to see a group of enthusiasts wearing front facing fanny packs to keep a restraint from hurting them...Some things cannot be unseen

I would rather be flung out of the restraint on Gatekeeper headfirst into the parking lot than to wear a fannypack or rather be seen wearing a fannypack.

I don't see whats wrong with a fanny pack, a backpack is a problem for some rides, and a fanny pack does the job.

you are there to have fun, not to be seen. Do what makes the best experence for YOU, not random passer-byers.

If I have to take more with me into the park for some odd reason than will fit into my cargo shorts pockets, I dig out my fanny pack. If folks don't like it, they don't have to look at it, I say! It keeps stuff secure, and I can relax and enjoy my day - that's all that maters to me. :)

Can't wait to try out GK later this summer!

It's not a fanny pack. It's a hands free belt satchel.

My family makes fun of me for having a fanny pack, but boy I sure am popular when it comes time for sunglasses, cell phones, money, and munchies to be stored away for rides! And is useful for suntan lotion and bandaids.

Vests, just hold out when ride begins, and keep hands there all the time!

It's not a fanny pack... It's a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

I don't care I won't wear one.

If you knew how painful the vest was for me you'd reconsider.

My very first ride was excruciating to the point that I almost cried involuntarily.
