When do the kids get out of school?

I am planning on making a trip to CP in June, and I was just wondering when the kids get out of school in Ohio.

I would rather make the trip to CP with the kids still IN school, so that the lines would be shorter.

Or is August generally a less busy month?

I get out of school May 31, thank goodness it wasn't June 1, or I'd be angry.... but yeah, I know a lot of schools in this area get out the 31st...but I live in Findlay, quite a bit south of CP

I have a feeling wether the kids are in school or not June 1st when I go it will be crowded. Is it crowded for Coastermania?

My school gets out May 25th, I live in Fostoria. That's a week before my first Cedar Point trip of the year. What a great way to start the summer!:)

Pick a Saturday in early June. There are alot of graduation parties, so that eliminates a ton of kids.

Here in North Olmsted, the seniors get out May 28 but most of us are calling in sick that day. This means our last day is May 25. The underclassmen get out on June 6. This seems like the last day for most of the western suburbs of Cleveland.

Schools in Metro Detroit usually get out the first or second week in June (anytime between the 6th and 15th this year) but that doesn't have too much of an effect on the crowds. I would reccomend going on a weekday and going before the 4th of July weekend (that is when it generally picks up for the summer.) remember that a lot of schools go on field trips to the point, so after school gets out it may even be less busy.

Toledo Public gets out May 31, if a person has no exams. Although if you do have exams then its June 5. Thursdays are usually less crowded than most days.
