I didn't see anyone else post about this, so I figured I would. I think there are some great food discounts this year.

Not bad at all! Cheese on a stick and chili cheese fries deal will probably get alot of use!

I like the coaster classic deal, and chili cheese fry deal. (The food deals seem new to me)

I have used the skyscraper deal, free round of challenge golf, and of course the get in an hour early deal. but all the rest are hard to use, or I don't use them.

I may have used the free game deal once.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

The Coasters deal looks great, especially since I'm predicting that the new fresh beef burgers will be really good.

I wish there was a food option for Pinks.

Those food perks are actually pretty good perks this year, particularly because it involves free food and drinks instead of just some money off.

Those food deals are exactly what I've been pushing for over the years and should definitely get pass holders to spend more in the park. I'm very impressed.

Though I've been doing nearly all my eating out of the park in past years, I finally feel motivated to try many of those offers. About 80% of those places I've never even tried.

A nice assortment of good deals! I was hoping for discounts at Pink's, my new favorite place to eat in the park. All-in-all, not bad!

All in all I am really impressed with the deals this year. It looks like they added the Friday ride night on Memorial Day weekend. Food deals look much better than in the past.

Well, the food deals are a little better than in the past...

My gripe with the food deals is/has always been that they tend to be BOGOs. But there's only one of me! Okay, so if I buy two Cheese on a Sticks I get two drinks. But what if I only want one of each?

Luckily this year they have a few deals that boil down to "Buy this, get the rest of your meal". I've never tried the meatball sandwich before...

Of course, for me the best Platinum Pass perk is that it gets me admission and parking at Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Carowinds, Knott's Berry Farm, and a bunch of other places! 8-)

Definite indication that they are pushing for more people to eat in the park. The deals are great. Buy part of your meal, get the rest free in most cases. Hopefully they expand on this in coming years.

Something else to be excited about for this season!

Loving the food deals, although they're not going to help me fit on Wicked Twister anytime soon. :)

I noticed for the early entry perks it lists the Midway Carousel and Ocean Motion. I'm curious if they'll do like in the past where everyone has access to those rides during the first hour. If they limit it to pass holders, the other guests won't be able to get to Donut Time and the midway games as they have in the past.

I love the new deals I am a bit sad that they don't have save 10% at some of the park stores it was nice getting something off while it was not much. Everything else looks good though.

I'm really impressed by the chili cheese fry deal in particular, as I usually get the regular fries every trip anyway.

Anyone know the price of
Chili Cheese Fry:
Regular Fry:
16 oz soft drinks:

It'll be interesting to calculate the savings. I imagine the savings would be around 60-70% off the normal price?

I'm bummed about this too! I'm surprised they took it off - It's been a perk as long as I can remember..

We showed our platinum pass and purchased things at Park Plaza yesterday and received 10% off as long as we spent $20.00 just like years past.

They've had that for a few years at least. I'm not sure why they don't show it on the Perks Page.

Does anyone know if they are offering any sort of deal where you can show them your Platinum Pass at the ticket booth and you can get a friend a discounted ticket?

I don't believe they do that, but it never hurts to ask at the gate.

I know that if you know someone in the military (and has a valid ID card, VA card, retired mil. card, or DD214) they can get $15 off tickets. If you buy online you get $7 off, and if you buy it from a Meijer store or Drug Mart it's $10 cheaper than gate price.

I was just looking at the Platinum Pass page on the website and I noticed this:

NEW! - Bonus Ride Time
All passholders can enjoy 30 minutes of Bonus Ride Time shortly after park close on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on Millennium Force OR Top Thrill Dragster. Bonus Ride Time will begin on Tuesday, June 12 with Millennium Force followed by Bonus Ride Time on Wednesday, June 13 on Top Thrill Dragster. Rides will alternate days every Tuesday/Wednesday through August 15.

Extra ride time??? When did they add this?
