How far of a walk is it to the gates?

We are staying in the cabins at LHP. How far is the walk to the park entrance? And another question, what time does the shower houses close? We are thinking about a few of us going to the shower house so that it wont be so busy in the cabin. Thanks!

I think you can get into the bathrooms/showers near Soak City at any hour of the night. I imagine the same is true for LHP bath houses.

Not that far of a walk really. 5 minutes tops.

Hey Disneyfreak,

The enterance at the back of the park is super-close! It is not a bad walk at all, and FAR less people use that enterance!

You can make a mad-dash to a lot of coasters from the back enterance and arrive to many rides quicker than if you entered from the front.

Shower houses should be 24/7 for those who stay at Camper's village and don't have bathroom facilities.

I don't know if I'd say it's "super close". The resort entrance is about as far away from LHP as the back of the main lot is from the main entrance. Close, yes. But it's still a hike.

Which I believe is equal to approximately 1.3 "a ways".

What's the conversion rate to metes and bounds?

The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.

It is usually faster to have Chief O'Brien beam you there

Considering he's coming from Lighthouse Point, I should think the more appropriate engineer for the job would be Mr. Scott.

Depending where your cabin/cottage is, the gate is about 5 minutes walking straight through the parking lot from the camp store, so about 10-15 minutes should be allowed for. You can call for the shuttle (near the pool), that will take about 10-15 minutes also.

The shuttle was an interesting ride last summer after picking up a crew that spent a few too many hours at Bubbles.
