Um, quick question.

Hi.

I don't know if I am posting this in the right section, I am new to this site.

Anyway, I just wanted to know, is Cedar Point worth a 1,018 mile drive.

That all depends on whether that distance is round trip, how many people are going and whether or not you drive a Hummer. It may be less costly to fly.

I think it's cute that Johnny1note answered the other Johnny's question.

1040 miles for me, and worth it. I don't drive, though, I catch a plane. We've got direct OKC-DTW and then I rent a car and drive the 100 miles.

Um, quick answer...

You shouldn't be asking this group if you want an honest answer. 8-)

That's not entirely true. This group will give honest answers. They are just going to come from the point of view that there isn't a such thing as "too far" to go to visit Cedar Point.

I feel like CP is definitely worth a visit if you have never been there before. There is something there for everybody, and you will have a good time if you go. It is the Best Amusement Park In The World for a reason...

Maybe the better way to phrase it is, "You shouldn't be asking this group if you want an objective answer."

It's funny, the other day I was on quilterstuff.com. It's this great web site and community forum dedicated to discussion of everything having to do with quilts. And I posted the question, "Is quilting really all that fun?" And amazingly, nearly 100% of the respondents told me that, yes, in fact it really was.*

*The lone exception was this one guy who stated that he really didn't even like quilts and he probably shouldn't even be called a quilting enthusiast.

I'm not sure if that's an assumed winkie or if we need to revoke his man card. :)
