Water ride

Hi. I have an uncle who works for CP. He just found out that CP is planning on building the world's tallest and longest water ride for 2003. It will run around the lagoon area and have a length of 4500 ft. But here is the most shocking thing: it will have two lift hills. The first will be an incredible 160 ft. drop. The second will be 140 ft. and will drop into a banked run. Unfortunately, we will have to wait untill 2003, but it will be well worth it.

wow can't wait!

Cedar Point is obviously not going to annouce something like this now. Does your uncle perhaps work in the frozen ice cream cart department by any chance?

This is the first liquid coaster rumor I heard, which is what this is. No way a regular flume could take a banked turn, and besides, it would take 30 minutes to go 4500 feet in a boat!

It seems like everyone here has an Uncle, cousin, or friend who is one of the top 5 officials of Cedar Fair. There is no reason for Dick and Co to even tell anyone but the Vice Prez and a few of his goons what will happen in 2003, let alone 2002.

Hey did i tell you that i have a friend whos cousins uncles brother sons daughters friend who is the brother of the vice president of cedar fair, and they told me that they are going to sell Magnum, MF, Raptor, and Mantis, because they are going bankrupt, so they need money.

Your wrong...Maybe for 2002 but 2003 plans arent out yet.

yea...the entrence is going to be right next to the lemon chill cart.at least thats what my friends uncles mothers freind said.

Chad, don't take it personally, but rumors ABOUND and we've heard sooooo many that until CP makes an official announcement, we're not likely to take anyone seriously. Even if someone had said in 1990 that CP had plans for a 300+ foot coaster, no one would have believed them. So it isn't you, it's just a history of people crying "wolf" or in this case, "coaster/water ride/hotel/record breaker/oh-my-g*d-you-won't-believe-this-but-I-know-it's-true".

Does your uncle happen to work near Raptor?

Listen to CP2000andBeyond, he knows what's going on. His sister is high up at CP, too. Maybe his sister knows your uncle.
